Q: What about Gratuities?
A: We are often asked about gratuities, gratuities are not included in any services or treatments. Quality service is customarily acknowledged by a gratuity of 15-20%.
 
Q: What if I am runing late?
A: Should you be running late, we will hold your appointment for 15 minutes provided we hear from you. If you are more than 15 minutes late and the service will be adapted to time left and the full amount will be charged.
 
Q: Do you take Walk-Ins?
A: We welcome walk-ins; however available slots generally fill up during the day. We suggest that you give us a call and we can tell you what times are currently available for the day.
 
Q: Do you have off-street parking?
A: Yes we do have off-street parking. Parking is provided in the rear of our building off Main Street. The entrance to our building is on the corner on Broad Street.
 
Q: Do you offer any loyalty rewards?
A: Yes we do. We appreciate your business and the confidence you place in us. You earn 5 points for every $100 you spend on products and services. Each point is equal to $1 and can be redeemed at anytime for any of our professional products.
 
Q: Do you offer any referral rewards?
A: You can earn $5 for every new client you refer to URBAN EDGE Salon & Spa if they have a referral rewards card that you gave them or they asked for one in the salon saying who referred them. Only valid at time of first service visit. Referred client will receive $5 of their first visit and you will receive a $5 credit to your account to use on any service or product.
 
Q: What professional products do yu carry?
A: We are pleased to offer you a variety of professional products to meet all your hair care and skin care needs. Our team will be happy to make a professional recommendation for you specific hair or skin type. We carry Redken, Redken for Men, PureOlogy, Repêchage, Hylunia and Biotone. 
 
Q: How early should I arrive for my spa service?
A: We suggest arriving at least 15 minutes prior to your scheduled appointment. If it is your first time for a massage or facial you will need the 15 minutes to fill out a brief health history questionnaire. Late arrivals may not receive an extension of scheduled treatment time, as we would not want to inconvenience other scheduled guests.
 
Q: Do I need to tip my spa therapists?
A: Tipping is customary in our service business. Tips are not included in the price of any service, massage or treatment. We leave the amount of a tip to your discretion based upon the level of service you received. As a guideline we suggest 15% for good service and 20% for excellent service. Tips can be included on any check or credit card payment or pre-paid on any paper gift certificate.
 
Q: Who should I tell if I have a physical, medical or allergy concern?
A: When you check-in at the front desk you will be given a brief health history questionnaire to complete that will assist your therapist in providing the best possible experience and to assure your maximum safety and comfort. We strongly encourage you to share any prior or current health issues that may affect you visit.
 
Q: May I use my cell phone while in the salon?
A: We kindly ask that as a courtesy to other guests and staff that all cell phones be turned off and not used during your visit. Should you need to make a call, we ask that you do so outside or ask to use one of our phone lines at the front desk. We appreciate your understanding in making a relaxing atmosphere.
 
Q: I would like to give an URBAN EDGE Salon & Spa Gift Card. What do you suggest?
A: URBAN EDGE Salon & Spa gift cards are the perfect gift for an anniversary, wedding, birthday, holiday or thank-you. Gift Cards are available to purchase in any amount and are good for any services and products. We also offer paper gift certificates that are for perfect for giving a specific service. Gift cards and gift certificates never expire. Gratuties can not be given using a gift card. They can on paper gift certificate if they are included at time of purchase. No refunds or change will be given on gift cards or gift certificates.
 
Q: Do you offer gift packages?
A: Yes we do offer gift packages for multiple salon and spa services.  View our current spa package specials click here or we can create a customized package for your special person.
 
Q: I received an URBAN EDGE Salon & Spa gift certificate as a door price or raffel for a specific service. May I use it for a different service or products?
A: These types of gift certificates are donated by URBAN EDGE Salon & Spa to help a local organization with a fund raiser. In this case the gift certificate can only be used for the specific service listed on the gift certificate and does have an experation date.
